What is threadless body jewellery? Invented in the late 90s, threadless piercings have  started to gain traction in the body jewellery fashion world over the last few years. Many body piercers have come to favour this type of threading due to the ease of application during the initial piercing implantation. Those with well healed piercings continue to enjoy threadless body jewellery for the ability to mix and match both backings and frontals with various piercing placements over your body. While threadless jewellery is not recommend for oral piercings, it is suitable for almost all other types of piercings.

How does it work? The friction that holds the jewellery in place is formed by a slight bend in a pin that is inserted into the backing. We include a video by Scott* at the bottom of each threadless product page so that you can see exactly how the fastening works before buying any piece. NOTE: Our warranties do not include lost jewellery so be certain to watch the video and research the accurate fastening of this type of piercing if you unfamiliar with how they work.
