Not everyone has the anatomy for an industrial piercing, you'll need defined curves around both sides of the helix placement. If you're unsure it's best to double check with a piercer who will also advise you on your options for the perfect angle. Generally, industrial body jewellery is sized at either a 14g (standard) or 16g thickness, with a piercing post length of anything between 28mm up to 50mm, depending on your anatomy and the angling of the body jewellery.
