Secondly, you need to establish if you need an internally threaded ball, externally threaded ball, or a threadless top. Internally threaded balls have a threaded pin that pokes out from them for insertion inside the belly ring where the threading is hidden, externally threaded balls are the reverse of this, instead the threading is inside the ball and can also be seen around the outer edges of the belly bar. Threadless tops have no threading, just a simple longer pin that bends and is inserted into the threadless bar for a tight fit.
