Not everyone has the anatomy for an industrial piercing, you'll need defined curves around both sides of the helix placement. If you're unsure it's best to double check with a piercer who will also advise you on your options for the perfect angle. Generally, industrial body jewellery is sized at either a 14g (standard) or 16g thickness, with a piercing post length of anything between 28mm up to 50mm, depending on your anatomy and the angling of the body jewellery. You can double check your size with your piercer, or by measuring your current piece and making any size adjustments as required should you need to upsize or downsize for comfort.
