Introducing Our Tighty Tins !!
We launched our new packaging this week. Environmental impact has always been a high concern for us so we previously used recycled paper envelopes, with our jewellery wrapped in decorative tissue paper for protection. The reality, however, was that it was still ending up in landfill. Additionally, the simplified packaging was aiding to breakages which involved re-sending orders and doubling the environmental impact.
We researched to find a source of packaging that would be both beautiful and useful for our loved customers, while preventing breakages and keeping postage fees to a minimum.
We hope you adore our solution as much as we do !! Introducing our cute screw Tighty Tins that can be re-used for anything you desire - storing belly rings and body jewellery, for travel, for keeping your meds, makeup or handbag nick knacks and even tampon discretion.
For hygiene purposes we (sadly) still need to use a small amount of plastic, however we've rejected the larger zip lock bags and hard plastic sealed boxes used by our competitors and replaced them with a heat sealing system which now permits us to accept 'change of mind returns' in instances where the hygiene heat seal remains in tact.
